If you’re an agent that represents artists and performers then advertising your open books to The Hustle Community is a great way to encourage submissions for new clients and of course it’s completely free to do this.
The Hustle Community does not allow unpaid castings to the group and also supports Equity rates of pay and contracts but agency auditions are obviously not specificly for work and obviously do not come with guaranteed fees.
This means that because the wording for an open audition for an agency can often be the same or very similar wording for an actual casting for a job that sometimes our system gets confused and rejects agency posts because of missing fees.
There are two things you can do to help avoid this:
- Register Your Agency In Our Directory – This is completely free to do and allows you to use your directory link to share with the group lettinfg us know that you are an agent not casting for a job. Click Here To Register On Our Directory
- Add [AGENCY AUDITION] to the top of the text of your post to the group. This helps us identify that this is in fact not a casting for work and allows us to approve the post more effectively.
