Thanks for signing up to become an advertiser with The Hustle Community. We want to get you up and running as soon as possible so here are a couple of things to bear in mind.
Just Joined #
Accounts can take up to 48 hours to become active for the first time so if you have just signed up don’t expect to see your posts being approved immediately. If after 48 hours your posts are still not being approved please keep reading:
Moderation Queue #
If you have registered for a Basic advertiser account then your posts will join the moderation queue with all other posts. We get about 150 posts a day and aim to get through all of them at 8am and 3pm every day except Sunday so if you have submitted a post outside of these times you just have to wait until the next moderation period. If you don’t want to wait for your posts to be moderated then consider upgrading your account to a premium account which includes auto-post approval.
Post Pre-Approval #
If you are a premium advertiser then you should automatically be upgraded for post “Pre-Approval” on the group. This is a feature that Facebook allows us to give which means your posts get Automatically posted and skip the moderation queue. We apply this feature to all premium accounts automatically but if your account hasn’t been upgraded yet for some reason then please submit a support ticket and let us know so we can sort it for you.
Incorrect Account Details #
If however, none of these apply, then the most likely situation is that you entered your details incorrectly when you signed up for your account. 9 times out of 10 when your post are still not being approved it is because you either entered your Facebook Business Page when we asked you for your Facebook Profile Name or you simply have a different name on Facebook or you have someone else from your company managing your posts.
Facebook only allows you to post to a group from a Personal Profile not a Business Page. When you registered for an advertising account we asked you for your “Facebook Profile Name” but quite often customers mistake this for your Business Page name or you simply entered your own name but you are not the one who is posting on Facebook for your business.
This is very easy to fix: simply Log In To Your Account and Navigate to your main account page, this should be the first page you see anyway. You will see the profile fields you entered when you signed up. Simply enter the correct information here – make sure you add your Personal Facebook Profile Name or the name of the person who will be posting on your behalf and then click Save Profile. Your posts should start getting approved pretty quickly afterwards.
None Of The Above #
If none of these have worked then most likely we’ve made a boo-boo somewhere!
Please submit a support ticket and we will help sort this out for you. 🙂
